Nominate "Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort" for a Ringo Award!
Hi Everyone! 👋
It’s that time of the year and I am once again asking for you to nominate my work in the 2026 Ringo Awards…
For this year’s awards, they have split the Kids Comic or Graphic Novel category into two subcategories: “Ages 11 and Under” & “Ages 12 and Up.”
I believe Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1 (which was printed last year) is perfect for the Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel – Ages 11 and Under category!
What are the Ringo Awards?
The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity, skill and fun of comics.
The 10th annual awards will return as part of the fan- and pro-favorite convention, The Baltimore Comic-Con. Top honors will be announced Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Open voting runs between March 13, 2026 through May 28, 2026. This is when fans, creators, and the like can all write-in their nominations in the various categories.
If you feel that the entire creative team deserves recognition, here is an outline of how you can place your nominations for all of us!
Best Writer - Jonathan Hedrick (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1)
Best Artist or Penciller/Inker Team - Debora Lancianese (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1)
Best Letterer - Leo McGovern (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1)
Best Colorist - Ichsan Ansori (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1)
Best Cover Artist - Debora Lancianese (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1)
Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel – Ages 11 and Under - Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1
Best Presentation in Design - Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1
You can simply copy and paste these into the nomination ballot! But, remember to include the name of the comic (Atticus & The Magical Pillow Fort #1) after each creators’ name so they know which work you’re nominating them for.
Also, make sure to confirm your selections in the follow-up email that they’ll send you after your submission!
