Trivia -
The news anchor on page 10 has more facial growth since our last time seeing him and his necktie is loose. This was intended to show the stress that the media is under during the crisis across the nation.
The “creative presidential” names that the Masked Leader is referring to our Kanaan’s team members; “Garfield” (James A. Garfield, 20th U.S. President), “Teddy” (Theodore ‘Teddy’ Roosevelt, 26th U.S. President) and “Lady Bird” (Claudia Alta "Lady Bird" Johnson, former First Lady of the United States).
I originally wanted the standoff to be set in Helen, Georgia to play on “Hell in Georgia.” But ultimately it was changed to Macon on the suggestion of editor Andrea Molinari due to it being a city with a size warranting that amount of police force.
